Arrived in Copenhagen with a 2 and half hour flight which I slept most of. Staying at another epic motel/hotel but wireless doesnt work in my room.. yuss. We went for a recovery ride once we arrived and had a look, it looked like it hadnt been changed other than first straight, I got some pictures. Its been rediculously cold here and weathers not looking good for the weekend so hoping for the best.

We arrived in Italy, bags got through hassle free but then after a 2hour wait for Europecar to realize that we had booked vans for the next day. Was a 2 hour drive to Perugia where we would race. Our motel was really good, except no wireless in rooms so sorry for lack of updates.
We went and hit up the Supermarket to suss out some food for the day and decided to go past the track for a look, and I was surprised a bit. Jumps were really tight which im fine with but they were like spines. We got told we could ride in the afternoon so ate some food then went for a ride. My first lap on the first jump I went over the bars, wasn't really concentrating to hard because I wasn't expecting it to kick me at all going walking speed! haha. laughed it off and kept riding. about 4 laps in Pickard crashed and then breaks his other wrist. We kept on riding and Im pretty sure I just about fell off about 10 times that day. Got the track pretty sorted and the triangle rythym not so much. We had been asked by the Perugia Club to go to a media release type thing with some important people so Friday morning we went into Perugia City, took the Mini Metro and got to do some tourist photo taking.
Friday was official practice had a good ride and caught up with some people, pretty chill day.
Saturday was race day, I was feeling really good for once and had a good sleep. I qualified out of motos fine with two 2nds and 4th. Mikey Williams took a digger on pro section and took a full impact slam on the upside of the next jump so that was his racing done for the weekend. We had Quarters for Junior Men, I had the last quarter, Trent, Daniel and Darryn Goodwin(aussie) were all in that heat and all fell off, coming 2nd 3rd and 4th. It took Trent out for the weekend. After a 10minute wait I was on the gate, I had an average gate and was in about7th into first corner, went high on 2nd corner and passed people through the pro section and ended up close to 2nd, then just over jump a bit on rhythm section and just lost all rhythm, ended up 5th, it ended my day there. Marc Willers got 2nd and Sarah Walker begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting got 1st, gave us something to amp about. By the end of day 1 racing 50 people had been to hospital, the hospital had rang police because it couldn't handle the amount of people and thought it was too dangerous. Dutch team pulled out and a few others.
I decided to race Saturday, I wasn't happy with quarters at all. Kurt James, Daniel, Sarah and me were the only ones riding day 2 from NZ team. I felt like shit but had a reasonable day, Finished 3rd in Quarters, and 5th in Semi Daniel Franks begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting crashed last moto and got knocked out real good. He had no short term memory all night, he had to have a sleepover with italian doctors for the next 2nights.
Packed my Gear and Bike plus Daniels stuff and was quite happy to leave Italy uninjured haha.
Overall had a pretty fun time other than everyone falling off.
